Sossusvlei Lodge blends in perfectly with its spectacular desert surrounds and bears testament to the ingenuity of an eco-friendly architectural design.
Guests are welcomed at the inviting reception area where one can enjoy refreshments whilst booking in. The rooms are divided in two sections either side of the main complex with rooms 101 to 125 to the left and rooms 126 to 145 plus the family units to the right.
The Sossusvlei Lodge Adventure Centre is situated next to the reception area where one can book activities to explore the Sossusvlei area during your stay.
Other facilities in the main complex includes the restaurant and dining areas that has an enormous al fresco terrace that looks out on the desert plains and in the evening on the floodlit waterhole where you can watch the passing parade of oryx, springbok, jackal, ground squirrel and hyena, whilst enjoying delectable meals and award-winning wines.
The bar on the premises is welcoming place where one can cool off and enjoy some refreshments after a day's adventure. The newly introduced Acacia Beer Garden is directly adjacent to the bar where one can relax under the shady crown of an age-old camel thorn tree. Take a refreshing dip in the sparkling pool and unwind on the sunbeds around the pool area whilst sipping on enticing cocktails that can be served from the bar area.
Across from the pool area is a lovely lounge where one can watch some television or indulge in a wide selection of excellent reading books. The indoor Conference Centre is situated next to the lounge area and is fully equipped for conferences for up to 100 delegates. Outdoor conferencing can also be arranged, so take your conference on holiday and experience the innovation influence of the inspiring desert surrounds!
