You are welcomed at Sossusvlei Lodge by our friendly staff with a refreshing welcome juice and cold cloth service. After check-in a porter will assist to transport your luggage to your accommodation unit.
There is a 24 hour coffee station available at our reception with a variety of coffees, teas and delicious biscuits to enjoy at any time!

Should you wish to take a Picnic Basket with a packed Breakfast on your early morning self-drive to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, please order it at Reception the previous evening before 18h00. Lunch Packs can also be ordered at Reception the previous evening before 18h00 to be collected the following morning - perfect for the long road to your next destination.
To make use of our Laundry Service, please make use of the bags and laundry list provided in your room and hand it in at Reception. On completion the laundry will be placed back in your room.
Should you need a hairdryer, please enquire at Reception for one to be placed in your room.

The al fresco terrace offers magnificent views over Elim Dune and of the floodlit waterhole where you can watch the passing parade of oryx, springbok, jackal, ground squirrel and ostrich, whilst enjoying exquisite food and wine.

The air-conditioned Bar at Sossusvlei Lodge is the perfect place to quench a 'Desert thirst' with their wide variety of soft-drinks, mineral waters, alcoholic beverages and cocktails. An impressive collection of the best South African wines can be found here as well as well-known Namibian and German beers and schnapps.
Refreshments and cocktails can be enjoyed whilst cooling off in the sparkling swimming pool adjacent to the bar area or whilst experiencing spectacular views from the upstairs Sundowner Deck. At the Acacia Beer Garden one can appreciate the relaxing atmosphere under centuries old trees with an ice cold lager on tap and in the evening you can enjoy the views towards the floodlit waterhole next to a cozy fire pit.

The Sossusvlei Lodge Sundowner Deck is situated above the Bar area with stairs leading from the Lookout Tower. Enjoy inspiring views towards Elim dune and the ridges of the Naukluft Mountains whilst sipping some delicious cocktails or refreshments.
Guests can also enjoy lounging on the comfortable patio furniture underneath a unique semi-shaded canopy overlooking the pool area.

Shaded by centuries old trees, the Acacia Beer Garden creates a relaxing atmosphere where one can sit back and enjoy an ice cold lager on tap or any other refreshments from the fully stocked Bar.

In the evening one can enjoy the views towards the floodlit waterhole next to a cozy fire pit that forms part of the Beer Garden.
A refreshing dip in the sparkling swimming pool at Sossusvlei Lodge will go a long way after a hot day of sightseeing in the Sossusvlei area.
This unique pool is inspired by the constellation of the Southern Cross and features underwater seating areas where one can enjoy the breath-taking views over the Desert landscapes.
Guests can laze on the sunbeds provided underneath cabanas dotted around the pool and relax with a good book or enjoy a few beverages from the bar.

The pool is only available to paying guests and is used at one's own risk. Children must be under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
